NORDIC DANCE INVITATIONAL & E LOOP HILL CLIMB CHALLENGE

The Nordic Dance Invitational Ski Race consists of a 500m Free Cookie Cup, 5k skate, 10k skate, 9k Hill Climb skate ski race for all ages and abilities, held at Lubrecht Experimental Forrest near Potomac, MT. Why is it called the Nordic Dance Invitational, you ask?  After each podium there will be solo and group dances!  TRIPLE KM for our BADWAX Friends.

NEW!!! Brunch Potluck!  Grist will be providing some treats, but bring your favorite brunch dish to share.  The rec center will host the brunch!

5/10km will have seeds by bib order.  The start order will be at registration in the morning and corresponds with your bib number.  No seeding for 500m or hill climb, just show and start.

SCHEDULE

9:00am - Check in opens (open all day)

9:30am - 10km (2 laps) - skate mass start  (Podiums = 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, U23, 24+, boys and girls and non binary)

9:35am - 5km (1 lap) - skate mass start  (Podiums = 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, U23, 24+, boys and girls and non binary)

11:00am - 500m - kids free cookie cup - any age (Podiums = everyone on the podium)

12:00pm - 9km (one way) - skate mass start E Loop Hill Climb Challenge (Podiums = 18 and under, U23, 24-39, 40-60, 61+, male and female and non binary)

FUN STUFF:

- top 3 podiums for all ages within distances - medals

- group dances organized and after each event

PARKING & REGISTRATION

• Please park in the main lot, once it's full you can park off the left fork of the road or in the Garnet Parking lot.
• Race HQ is at the Recreation Center.
